Aiden Thomas is a playboy billionaire business man. He works hard, he plays hard, and he likes his women to understand that they will never be more than a brief bit of fun in his life. That is until reporter Veronica Strickland waltzes into his life, and begins to question his behaviour and argues her way into his heart.
This was a standard take on the billionaire businessman playboy trope but the characters make it a worthwhile read.
I liked the determination of both MCs, but I especially liked Veronica. She stood up to Aiden, and did not put up with any if his arrogant and presumptive behaviour.
At times the writing could have been a little tighter. There was one moment where I swear Aiden grew a third hand, amongst one or two other inconsistencies.
Overall, it was an easy read with likeable characters, a decent plot, and plenty of heat.
