Spitfire Series Book 1
Well, I loved this book! I hated putting it down and tried to cram in snippets every free second I had. It made me late for work! This is quite a short review because I was so wrapped up in the story I didn’t stop to make notes.
This book felt so genuine. The characters are not perfect, but this story was about loving people despite, if not because of, those imperfections. Brandon Sterling is officially one of my favourite heroes even though he was a bit of a dick at times. Oh, I practically melted when he put his heart on the line, and he did it frequently.
I loved Skylar, too. She had such a deep sense of integrity and a strong work ethic. She was not intimidated by Brandon’s money or power, and actively hated and threw back his ridiculously expensive gifts. She made him work, and I mean really work, for it, and the story that unfolds is full of those feels that make a great romance.
It ends on a cliffhanger and I’m diving right in. I’m writing this while waiting for book two to to download. Hurry up, download! Download now!
