Last week, I forgot to mention that Iām taking a writing break. Instead, I plan to do as much reading as possible. Plus, Iām trying to gather inspiration and brainstorm ideas for next yearās Austen anthology, which will be paranormal.
š§š»āāļøIām thinking vampires, which means Iāve been delving into the research rabbit hole of Austen/vampire mash-ups, and thereās so much out there to read. Iāll be trying Jane Bites Back by Michael Thomas Ford and Pulse and Prejudice by Colette L Saucier. Have you read these and what did you think?
Anyway, I didnāt want to leave you with nothing to read this week. š
As itās Afternoon Tea Week in the UK, I thought Iād remind you I have some excellent posts crammed with facts for history lovers or those interested in tea.

If you want to discover what you might get up to at a Georgian tea party, check out this post:
If you’ve read the above, youāll know a tea party differs from afternoon tea, so check out this post, too:
Tea with Austen
Letās not forget this yearās Austen anthology. My short story for Tea with Austen features a tea party hosted by my heroineās bossy and mercurial employer, Mrs. Hammond.
Release day will soon be upon us, but donāt wait until 28th August.
So, while I’m taking a writing break, I’ll leave you to check out these posts. Enjoy whatās left of the summer, and Iāll be back to my normal posting schedule next week.
