First, tell us something quirky/offbeat about yourself.

When I wake up first thing in the morning, my eyes are extremely narrowed. They appear like slanted thin sheets. My hubby and son tease me mercilessly about it all the time. Also, I drink water at intervals throughout the night and in lying down position. Don’t ask me how I don’t choke. I don’t, thank God.

How did you come up with the idea for your new series, “TEMPTED by the Princess”?

The story idea occurred to me after I watched the TV series, The Royals.

In my 2 new releases, TEMPTED by the Princess, I show readers how a princess who feels “trapped” – by the trimmings of her lifestyle – and broken by her failed attempts to date outside the palace eventually grows cynical about love. She decides to settle for a marriage without love, until a damn-sexy, tattooed American tourist blows her fears open and demands she gives up her heart and body to him.

What’s your favourite thing about this book?

The passionate journey Declan takes Princess Kahina on to prove that love exists was terrific. I love their scorching-hot chemistry even as Princess Kahina fights her desire for a man who is like no other.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not writing?

I enjoy watching TV series a lot; Suits, Ransom, Greenleaf, Younger, being mary jane, Doubt, Jane the virgin, Madam Secretary, About a Boy and so on). I love having fun with my family, going to the cinema and listening to music.

What is your next project?

I’m working on a Christmas story. I can promise it will be deliciously sweet and steamy. My characters will strike at your heart for sure as they fight for what they need. Keep an eye out for a late October release by God’s grace.
