A Court of Thorns and Roses Book 3.1
I think devoted fans of this series will enjoy this book as much as the others. Those who aren’t may find it a little dull and pointless.
I’m afraid I’m in the latter category. I read this novella, one, because I bought it as part of a boxed collection, and two, I’m a stickler for reading series in order, and I want to get to Cassian’s and Nesta’s story in book 4.
Not much happens in this book at all, apart from Christmas shopping and a bit of steamy action between Feyre and Rhys. A few seeds are sown adding to the progression of the series and hints as to what may happen next, but it’s mainly a chance for the author to reveal a bit more of the backstory of the minor characters.
So, if you adore Feyre and Rhys getting hot and heavy, read it for the chance to see them together again. If not, you could easily skip this dull installment and pray things are more exciting in the next book.
