Rebels of Rushmore Book 3
As soon as Danny and Sadie meet thereโs an instant attraction, so thereโs lots of proximity tension and electricity in the air, etc.
Itโs a case of opposites attract. Danny is so easygoing and generally nice. Heโs the boy next door: well mannered, raised by a single mum, so kind and considerate of all, very polite, and never loses his temper.
Sadie, on the other hand, is blunt and aggressive at times. Sheโs focused on her football career, very competitive and single-minded, but sheโs not unlikeable. As someone who says what she thinks and doesnโt care about offending people, Sadieโs a character people will either love or hate.

Her main issue surrounds her father. Sheโs bitter towards her dad and feels he gave up too easily by allowing them to move to England after her parents divorced, so this has led to some serious trust and commitment issues on her part.
Both Danny and Sadie want to focus on their respective sports careers, and they are determined to keep it platonic. This means thereโs plenty of tension while they fight their attraction every step of the way. We all know theyโre going to succumb, itโs just a matter of time and that anticipation kept the pages turning.
When they finally give in itโs explosive and steamy. Then it falls apart when her trust issues kick in so theyโre back to square one.
Overall this book is a nice, easy read.
