Cover Reveal: "Tea with Austen" Anthology

Yes, it’s that time of year again when chocolates and flowers are overpriced. In case you didn’t know, I’m not a fan of Valentine’s Day and you can read more about why in a previous blog post. However, you can also read a bit about the history of St. Valentine’s Day and the man himself, which I find much more interesting.

But this post doesn’t focus on all things lovey-dovey. Well, it’s a little lovey-dovey. Today, I’m excited to announce that Tea with Austen is out on 28^th August 2024, and you can pre-order it now!

Following the success of Austen Tea Party, The New Romance Café will release another historical romance short story anthology featuring characters from Jane Austen’s works. I’m delighted to be part of this wonderful project alongside so many talented historical romance authors, and again, some proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research.

My Tea with Austen Story

I can’t wait to share my story, which is now written and being ruthlessly edited. It was a struggle, I must admit, to select an Austen character. I’ve mentioned I considered Miss Anne de Bourgh. In the end, I’ve gone for an equally debated character from Mansfield Park, but I’ll save that for a future post.

Until then, if you love Valentine’s Day, I hope you have a good one. If you’re a Valentine’s grump like me, put up your feet and get engrossed in a fictional love story instead.
