My Writing Goals for 2020

Just easing myself back into blogging with this quick post after a two week break.

I’ve put together 10 writing goals for 2020. I hope you’ll stick with me, and we’ll see how many I can tick off by the end of the year.

  1. Finish the first draft of book one in my time travel trilogy.
  2. Get an agent for my first novel, The Whitney Heir.
  3. Edit the first draft of my second novel, The Siren’s Song.
  4. Get some chapters of The Siren’s Song critiqued. Complete more edits and find beta readers.
  5. Engage more on social media and try to increase my followers.
  6. Increase the subscribers for this blog.
  7. Produce more varied blog posts. (Suggestions of what you would like to find on here are most welcome.)
  8. Pitch The Siren’s Song at PitMad in December. (This may be a tough one.)
  9. Make regular contributions to a new historical romance website and get my name out there to readers.
  10. Enjoy being a writer and don’t get stressed. (Yeah, I’ll play that one by ear.)
